The Challenge

Sigma Sports had identified success in international markets as a key component of their growth strategy, but were coming up against obstacles in international selling.

Bikes and wheel sets are the mainstays of Sigma Sports, but these large and bulky products were proving difficult to sell and ship outside the UK. Global shipping costs were unmanageable and often unprofitable to the company. The Results

Sigma Sports has seen substantial global growth since launching with Global-e: their number of orders increased by 120%, with international revenue rising 192%. They increased their active presence to more than 30 new countries and their AOV rose by 50% YoY from 2016 to 2017.

In Ireland, for example, Sigma Sports saw sales revenue increase by 5.3x, in the USA by 3.4x and in Japan by 4.2x.
